About Thomas Beach
Growing up in the Midwest, one of Tom’s earliest influences in his life was his grandfather, who served in the judiciary. He set an example for him on how to honorably serve your community. In 1968, Tom joined the United States Navy and served six years. Returning to Indiana, he used the GI bill for school and opened a small business.
In 1984, Tom moved to Sarasota. While working and raising his family, friends encouraged him to pursue higher education. He enrolled at Manatee Community College and later graduated from Eckerd College with a degree in American Studies. In 1998, Tom pursued a law degree. During his time at Regent University School of Law, he served as the law school chaplain and was co-recipient of the Servant Leadership award for his graduating class.
After graduation, Tom returned to Sarasota. Since 2002, he has practiced law as a government attorney for the State of Florida in Venice, Bradenton and Sarasota. Tom and his wife live in Sarasota. Tom’s son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren live locally and own the Chick-Fil-A at Sarasota Square Mall.
As a Sarasota County Judge, Tom’s commitment is to be fair, impartial and uphold the law. His passion for running for Judge was inspired by his grandfather, the pursuit of a law degree to help others and his years of service as a government lawyer. He sees the need for justice in the court system and not legislation from the bench. Tom is the right person for the job and asks for your vote. He will serve with honor and lead from experience with a steadfast COMMITMENT TO UPHOLD THE LAW.
Elect Tom Sarasota County Judge because he wants to preserve this wonderful place we all call home!!!
